Hunt Valley, MD – 05/18/2021 – SAI, a Baltimore-based software and consulting firm, today announced that global IT executive, John McGregor has joined the company as a member of its advisory board. McGregor will work closely with SAI’s board and leadership team to guide and inform Acadia performance platform infrastructure and market positioning.
“Acadia has been deployed to a rapidly expanding portfolio of global enterprises over the last three years. John was key to the successful transformation at UKG as Kronos and Ultimate merged and exponentially expanded their customer base. His experience will strengthen our ability to quickly scale our capabilities as we are adding tens of thousands of new Acadia users on an increasing tempo,” said Ric Hughes, CEO at SAI.
With more than 35 years of experience leading IT organizations, McGregor currently serves as Chief Information Officer and Vice President, Corporate Information Technology at Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG). His forward-thinking and pragmatic approach to IT infrastructure and services keeps the company’s global IT organization closely aligned with the business and at the forefront of innovation.
McGregor joined Kronos as CIO in 2008 where he made a significant impact on its strategic direction, leading the effort to build legacy Kronos Cloud, which is home to customers worldwide, and helping to drive the company’s successful transformation into a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company. Prior to that, he held several IT leadership positions with leading companies such as Sweetheart Cup Company and United Components.
“Acadia really helps companies, managers, and teams take their planning and business processes to the next level in a unique way. It turns plans into something tangible that helps you iterate and improve over time. That’s powerful for an organization of any size to drive innovation and efficiency in an organized way,” said McGregor.
